Software Engineering Radio Podcast

Tuesday, June 12, 2007 12:10 PM
There's a really great but lesser known podcast courtesy of our friends in Europe called Software Engineering Radio.  The presenters most often reference C++ and Java as their reference languages although for the most part the topics remain language agnostic.  That's actually what sets SE-Radio apart from other podcasts is the fact that the vast majority of their topics can be applied to almost any language.  For example, past topics have included refactoring, meta-programming, and DSLs, just to name a few.

Unfortunately, I've been a bit hesitant to become a regular listener since the sound quality has traditionally been a bit sub-optimal.  However, that has all changed with the most recent podcast.  Apparently the guys recently invested in some professional quality audio equipment which has drastically improved their sound resulting in every second of the podcast coming through loud and clear.

I highly recommend this podcast to anyone looking for something to pass the time on that commute.  You can find out more at the link above.
